Clark Kent's best quotes (to Lois)

Here we go again. Until today I hadn’t fully known what this scene, (or should I say this whole episode) really meant. How deep meaning it has for Clark and Lois. Because, by the end of Doomsday, everything happened so fast. Clark was sure he was going to die. But he was also sure that he could die, but he would take the evil away from the face of the earth. He actually survived. He got rid of the evil, and he survived. Although he had won, he was bringing back all of the things he could have done to put that hell away, but didn’t do. He put on his soulder all the fault in the world. Because Jimmy was dead, and in Clark’s own words: “It wasn’t the beast that killed Jimmy. It was a human”. His faith in Davis made him doubt if he should put faith on humans. But that was nothing compared to what he felt next. He went looking for the woman of his life, but couldn’t find her anywhere. That was the last drop. “Clark Kent is dead” he said. And thought he had so much power in his hands, plus training with Jor-El. His real source of strenght was gone. What would come after all of this unfortunate events? Pandora showed us. Ahead of them was a world of destruction, a world of pain, suffering and hate. And Clark was there. Powerless, hopeless, “lifeless”. One year living like this. After losing his family, friends, land, and most important Lois. But then she came back, she reappeard. And within her came back his light, peace of heart, spirit, strenght and that gave him back the faith he had lost when he thought he’d lost her forever. Because everything that he was, disappeard. She was everything. She was his source of powers, his source of hope. With her by his side he could do anything, and when he lost her, he lost himself in a hopeless and eslaved world. Without her he failed. He lost everything. And with everything I mean everything. Chloe, the farm, Oliver, his life. But she was holding his pieces. And when se appeard, she built him all over again, piece by piece she restaured the man of her life, with a night full of love, desperation, fear, anxiety, and yet with hope in their tomorrow. By saying: “Lois, I died when you left” he gave meaning to his statement that Clark Kent was dead. That’s what made this moment so special. And with strenght Clark was winning again. He was ready to defeat Zod and bring back peace. But once again he would lose her. In any way he would. But he knew. He was the only one of them both that could understand a weird situation like that. He knew that in the moment she got back to the present she, no matter how, would help him to overcome this evil and save earth and as a consequence, be with her. Forever. But she was afraid of losing that. “What if I never see you again?”. And even after being stabbed, he smiled and said: “You will” and to reassure that, he kissed her. Sharing with her the strenght that he had, which had come from herself. Smallville, you did it right! ♥
"I Clark Kent take you Lois Lane to be my companion, forever. With you by my side I will never be alone. Thought the world sees a strong and independent woman, I’ve never known someone with such gentle grace and more pure heart. When I’ve been lost you’ve always been there to bring me back. So on this day at this moment, I pledge the rest of my life to you. You’ve always believed in me. And I believe in you. And when you believe in someone it’s not for a minute. Or just for now. It’s forever."
